在翻譯中，我們發現有些單詞需要調整順序或者顛倒順序，這是什麼原因呢？今天我在“高齋CATTI”上給大家分享下Climax原則。

Climax原則定義

Climax（漸進法，層進法）這種英語修辭將一系列詞語按照意念的大小、輕重、深淺、高低等逐層漸進，最後達到頂點。其作用是增強語勢，逐漸加深讀者印象。比如凱撒大帝的名言“I came， I saw， I conquered。”就是使用了這種修辭手法的典型代表。

我最近在看居祖純《高階漢英語篇翻譯》，這本書有四處翻譯的時候就使用了這種英語修辭。好，我們看看這四處具體是如何翻譯的：

A。 人生也一樣，避惡、避醜、避邪，只能說明自己心靈脆弱。

“避惡、避醜、避邪”中的三個名詞，譯時宜根據英語修辭中的climax原則，調整一下其詞序，翻譯為what is ugly， vile and evil。

“打鬧、逗趣”翻譯時詞序宜按照英語修辭高潮漸進（climax）原則顛倒一下。

英譯時加上了補充說明性的形容詞，並且按英語修辭climax（層進法）的原則重排了次序：intellectual temperament，unique writing style and noble character。

D。 一個讓人羨慕的家庭環境，所有的佈置，都應該是以能促進家庭成員彼此之間的健康和諧為基本的前提。

The layout and ambience ofan enviable home should be designed to guarantee the health of each and every family member and promote domestic harmony。

其實climax原則在政府工作報告中也很常見，比如21年政府工作報告中就有很多。好，我們一起看看吧：

A。 最大限度保護了人民生命安全和身體健康，為恢復生產生活秩序創造必要條件。

解析：

解析：

按照climax原則，我們在翻譯時把“生命安全”和“身體健康”調換順序，因為“生命安全”最重要。

B。 最佳化和落實減稅政策。

根據climax原則，先翻譯“落實”，再翻譯“最佳化”，因為要先實施政策，再以此為基礎進行改進。

還比如21年政府工作報告中這個：

最佳化和穩定產業鏈供應鏈。

We willensure the stable operation of industrial and supply chains and improve them。

按照英語修辭的climax原則，要先保證產業鏈供應鏈穩定執行，才能在此基礎上進一步最佳化，所以英譯時調換了“最佳化”和“穩定”的順序，先說ensure the stable operation of industrial and supply chains，再說improve them。

C。 讓市場主體安心經營、輕裝前行。

All these efforts willlighten the burden on market entities and enable them to focus on doing business free from undue concern。

解析：

解析：

“輕裝前行”也就是減輕負擔，市場主體的負擔變小了才能更安心地經營，所以根據英語修辭的climax原則調整語序，先說lighten the burden on market entities，再說enable them to focus on doing business free from undue concern。
