Describe something is exciting， really enjoyable

形容一件事令人激動，令人愉快。

lit 是動詞light的過去分詞，原意是點燃，後面延伸出“很燃”的意思。

The concert last nignt was lit！

昨天的演唱會很精彩！

Thirsty

eager for attention or approval

渴望得到關注或認可

原意是我們熟知的“口渴”、生理的需求延伸出心理的慾望：“渴望”

She posts selfies everyday on her Wechat Moments。 She is so thirsty！

她每天都在朋友圈上發自拍，看起來真的很想被關注了！

To be done with someone/sth

To be finished with someone or something； to cease being involved or dealing with someone or something。

與某人或某事結束關係；停止參與或處理某人或某事。

Let’s have done with this silly argument。

讓我們結束這種愚蠢的爭論吧。

I’m fed up with you lot！ I’m done with you for ever！

我受夠了你們這些人了！我再也不想和你們有任何關係！

*we are done。 我們到此為止。（分手）

[ˈʃeɪdi]

shady是shade（陰影）的形容詞，表示陰暗的、陰涼的

延伸出 very sneaky, suspect 非常陰險可疑的意思

quiet, modest, not very assertive

安靜、謙虛低調、不善言辭

與low profile 意思相近，反義詞是 high key， high profile（高調、引人注目的）

They had a low-key wedding。

The star has a high profile in China。

這位明星在中國擁有很高的知名度。
