Thousands of mountains are red and forests are stained。 Why can a clear spring render such a colourful picture in the mountainous area of southern Jinan？ Along the way down the pool， we found the answer。 The spring burst out and shuttled between the mountains and forests， moistening out a piece of vitality。 This source of life is the Shengshui Spring in Jinan Red Leaf Valley。

Shengshui Spring lies quietly in Jinan Xingjiao Temple。 It is said that the spring water is full of aura and can prolong life after drinking it， so it gets its name。 It has been thousands of years since it flowed for many years and has not dried up。 It is the oldest natural spring in Jinan Red Leaf Valley。

Years are long and ripple through the ages。 During the Wanli period of the temple， the inscription recorded that “The Jacaranda of the temple， the back pillow of Longshan， the former Shengshui Spring， the left Jianjialan， the right matching monk， I don‘t know when it was founded。” After the washing of time， Shengshui Spring and Xingjiao Temple still witness the reincarnation of the starry night together， soaking each other in several winds and rains。

“Red leaves float in the poetic world， dripping dark springs around the sound of the piano。” The poet Yongtao looked at the business。 Rest in the octagonal pavilion， raise your eyes at the Wanye Tower， lower your head in theShengshui Spring， and the buddhist mood is leisurely， empty and quiet。
